Rose Wines

Rose come from red grapes

The classic rose wines come from red grapes, which are macerated to bestow the rose tint. The maceration does not exceed 24 hours and then the grapes are pressed to obtain the rose blush, which ferments like white wine. A method not frequently used, except for sparkling rosés, is the blending of white and red wines.
